Day 2-Your favorite character.
Well, since I can’t really post ‘everyone from Dragon Age’ I guess I’ll pick someone else. There are so many likable characters out there. So I guess I have to choose Garrett from Thief. And I am sensing this will become more of a ‘Thief meme’.

Garrett is a wonderful character. Your introduced to him has a child, and you get a feeling of history from this tiny, yet critical, part of the series. He’s charming and subtle. He’s witty, and his cynicism is endearing. Not to mention that voice is to absolutely DIE for! Though he exhibits a strong sense of self-interest, there is a depth to him that makes him seem real. There are little details here and there throughout ‘Thief’ that give him a dimension of life that other characters do not. His relationships with others may be different, but without them he would be empty. In the end, he’s human, and a human you’d like to get to know at that. Chances are, though, you never would. You have to find someone to know them.
Everything about ‘Thief” is my favorite. And this meme has a lot of ‘favorite’ questions. I’ll try to spread it out some. Feel free to give me your favorite video game character/s.
30 Days of Gaming Meme-
Day 1- Very first video game
I guess the very first game that I actually played was Baldur’s Gate by Bioware. Unfortunately I dont remember a whole lot from the game. I remember a bit about game play and how that all worked. I’d say I remember the classes, but I dont remember them from the game so thats not really true. I remember poking them enough they would get annoyed. Or was that Icewind Dale? See, I cant remember.

But the very first game that I really remember; that I really got into was Neverwinter Nights also by Bioware. I played the hell outta that one. I remember it well, the characters and Tomi’, and the story…kinda. Well I remember Aribeth’s betrayal. That wasn’t cool. I really remember having my mom help me out in the begining, because I was to lazy to read. And I remember that I wanted to play becasue my parents were always talking about it and playing it. I wanted to get in on that, and those conversations. This is why I say video games are good for families.
Neverwinter Nights really got me into gaming. It started it, anyway. I love that game. Still haven’t managed to play the second installment, though.
Feel free to comment with your first video game! Tell me all about it!
Starting this little meme that’s going around the ‘net, today! Its always fun to reminisce.
